Lauren Gaskill

Hello there! My name is Lauren Gaskill and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the owner and operator of EquipEd Consulting. With a passion for helping individuals achieve their fullest potential, I bring over nine years of experience in the field of special education to the table.

Professional Background

I am a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and a certified special education teacher. My journey in special education began with my first teaching role in a functional skills classroom, where I had the privilege of working with students of diverse abilities. This experience laid the foundation for my dedication to creating inclusive, supportive, and effective educational environments.

Experience

After my initial teaching role, I transitioned to Missouri State University, where I served as an autism resource specialist and BCBA. In this capacity, I wore many hats, acting as a classroom consultant, a professional public speaker, and content creator. I was responsible for designing and presenting dynamic, hands-on professional development workshops in regional centers, school districts, and conferences. My presentations were known for being engaging and practical, equipping educators and professionals with the tools they needed to succeed.

Severe Problem Behavior: I specialize in assessing and addressing severe problem behaviors, utilizing evidence-based strategies to create positive outcomes.
Special Education Classroom Programming: My experience in special education classroom settings enables me to develop and implement effective programming tailored to the needs of each student.
